The Alvarez PD85SCAV Acoustic-Electric Guitar has all the Professional Series features in a cutaway dreadnought body with a solid rosewood back, rosewood sides, and the Alvarez System 600T MK II preamp and EQ.
Alvarez Professional Series guitars put a balanced instrument in your hands with powerful performance and stylish cosmetics. Scalloped bracing on solid spruce tops, with solid backs as well, offer superb tone and projection. A strong, traditional dovetail neck joint locks the neck and body together for the best string-to-guitar energy transfer. Each guitar features labor-intensive maple binding, genuine abalone shell inlays, and gold hardware for understated elegance and presence.
The Alvarez System 600T MK II preamp and EQ adds flexibility and functionality to your sound. It allows you to fine tune the gain and response of the EQ sliders for ultimate personal-taste tone tailoring. The sophisticated notch filter gives lock-down feedback control without killing the basic components of your sound while the built-in tuner keeps you on pitch. And you can use the aux input to add a second pickup to get the biggest response and best sound you could hope for from your Alvarez PD85SCAV.
