The American Deluxe Stratocaster with V Neck is the answer for players looking for that traditional '50's V neck shape and want the classic tradition that Fender is famous for. The S-1 Switching and Samarium Cobalt Noiseless pickups make this guitar extremely versatile and give the player an endless array of pickup configurations and superior tones. Solid Alder Body. V Shape Maple Neck. Maple Fingerboard. Includes hardshell case.

To faithfully capture the characteristic sounds that Fender guitars are known for, each instrument in the new American Deluxe Series comes equipped with different configurations of the newly designed Fender Samarium Cobalt Noiseless (SCN) pickups. Designed by legendary pickup designer Bill Lawrence, who worked closely with Fender's engineering team, the new SCN pickups utilize miniature Samarium Cobalt magnets and special alloy pole pieces to create a noiseless pickup that is both responsive and articulate.

Combined with Fender's acclaimed S-1 switching, which comes equipped on every guitar in the American Deluxe Series, the new SCN pickups bring a near endless array of superior tones and pickup configurations that even further defines that "Fender sound" like never before.

Fender's groundbreaking S-1 switching system allows players to switch pickup configurations in an instant. The switch is visually undetectable, but tonally it turns your instrument into the most versatile axe on the planet! Located in the crown of the master volume knob, one push of the switch will place your pickups in an assemblage of parallel, series and pickup-combining configurations. You can have the best of all worlds!

Its lightly tinted neck has a maple fingerboard, abalone inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets. Available in Two-color Sunburst (703), Black (706), Candy Apple Red (709) and Honey Blonde (767).
